Garden
Performance
Gazanias have large, daisy-like
flowers on short, sturdy stems which
form full, beautifully mounded plants.
Available in many colours, gazanias will bloom
all summer long. These durable,
drought-tolerant, plants will excel in that
hot corner of your garden. Known in Mexico as
'Dormilonas' ('sleepy heads') because the
blooms close at dusk and on cloudy days!
Growing
Guide
Gazanias are low maintenance, and forgive
neglect. Although not necessary,
occasional deadheading improves their appearance
and encourages new blooms. The occasional touch of
all purpose fertilizer helps keep the blooms
producing. Do not over water!
Colours and Varieties
Gazanias come in a variety of
colours, primarily in the yellows and oranges,
solid or striped ("flame"). Big Kiss has
slightly large blooms.
