Width: 15 - 20"
Weight: 8 - 12 lbs
Colour: White
Rind Texture: Smooth, ribbed
Flesh: orange

If you ask for a pumpkin in South Africa, you won't get an orange jack-o'-lantern, instead, you'll get a white pumpkin that is much flatter than the pumpkins we are used to. It is named after the original Dutch settlers to South Africa (where it is known as "Plat Wit Boer" in Afrikaans). Great for stacking!

Jack-o'-Lanterns: FWB's flesh is about an inch thick at the top and bottom, and is an impressive two to four inches thick along the edges, resulting in a surprisingly small cavity, making this pumpkin virtually impossible to carve.

Culinary: Another great tasting international pumpkin, long term storage potential, customers have reported keeping them for TWO YEARS before eating!
