Thanksgiving Traditions
One of ours is to serve leeks, and we've been doing this
every year since we started growing leeks, which was way
back in 2016!
We grow "Giant Musselburgh", a Scottish heirloom variety
that was introduced in 1834.

Look for thick stems. and crisp leaves
- Storing at
home
For short term storage, room temperature is
fine. For long term storage keep them cool (the
refrigerator).
- Cultivar
Giant Musselburgh: A thick, tasty
heirloom variety from Scotland, 1834. Musselburgh
leeks, or Scotch Leeks, were actually developed by
Dutch immigrants to Scotland in the late 18th
century, named for the town of Musselburgh which
is just east of Edinburgh.
Musselburgh leeks are renowned for their thick
tender stems, and sublime flavour.
