Heat Day Hours: 8:-00 - 2:00 (July 14-15)
Please check this page, we will do our best to update each morning.
Currants -PYO Open
Red Currants: The last variety is good picking, ideally they should be left a couple more days for the entire cluster to ripen, but if you wait a few days you might miss them...
Blacks Currants: lots have been picked! There are some blacks where people have missed, and some fully loaded branches that need another week to ripen. Picking is so-so, and will get worse as season progresses (sorry)... we have more planted so the patch will be bigger next year!
RaspberriesToday (Thursday) the PYO is closed to allow the patch to ripen, lots tomorrow morning. Due to the heat, pick your own will run mornings only. Picking should be good for another week, then the picking will gradually get harder.
